Black Coon

Trapped this black coon today and was wondering what a taxidermist might pay for it. Not sure what we are going to do with it yet, keep or seel but was looking for what some of you thought it may be worth. WCL

I paid 25.00 for this one a couple of years ago. You may get more though, who knows.

Thats a deal. We get 25-30 bucks for our regular big boar coon at fur sale. Thats not put up or anything just skun green fur. WCL

It probably was a deal. It was a big boar, and I bought another at the same time that was the same size and standard color for the same price. Both were just green at the time. We would be lucky to get 10.00 for a coon here in MO, but the coon pictured came from northern IA.

my buddy killed one identical to that coon hunting in Indiana last year and had it mounted. i would keep it for myself if i was you, pretty unique and they make sweet mounts.

Back when Furs were High $$$ I got $75 apiece for two like that.
