Got my Whitetail Mount Back from the Taxidermist

I'm pretty happy with it, figured I'd share a photo, not the best angle I shot from, it is a 5x5, the antlers are hiding a point from this angle. You can compare it to my avatar, as that is the same deer, when it was first shot.

Not bad!! the face looks like it's bulging out by the eye.

I think the bulging youmentionis partially because of the photo and the coloration around the eye, doesn't seem to bulge in person. I paid about 425 dollars for the mount I think the guy did a pretty good job. Here is a lot better angled photo that shows all 10 points and what looks like what could have been the beginings of an 11th if the deer lived another year or two.

I like the second picture. Good looking mount. Must feel good to finally have it up on your wall.
