This is an amazing website/forum. Check it out. Ask questions. Use the search. The search hold an incredible amount of answers. Like a lot of forums, if you start asking 'beginner' questions that have been asked thousands of times before, they tend to get overlooked. So start off using the search button, and read away. If you can't find what your looking for, don't be afraid to ask a question.

Also check with WASCO it is the Wildlife Artist Supply company. You can get lots of reference material, supplies, how-to videos ect... Taxidermy today and Breakthrough are the industry trade mags you may want to check out. My suggestion is to visit a local taxidermist in your area and ask him/her lots of questions and volunteer to help. You will learn lots more getting your hands dirty and they may like the company and free labor..
