Default Want to learn Taxidermy

Hi guys im interested in learning about deer Taxidermy. You all saw that horrible deer mount i got back from the local taxidermist,well i want to do it my self so i know its done right.
1.Does anyone know of any schools close to Cape Cod MA.
2.What are some good books or videos for getting started
3. What is the easiest deer mold to do for a first deer.
4. Does anyone live near cape cod that i could come and learn from.

check out taxidermy.net I also want to learn taxidermy. I am going to try to mount a deer and some small game this year. and that website gave me tonz of info.

bassman i dont mind coming out there if you have a cheap nice place to stay.... i looked at other school but they want a boat load of $ for bording

Buy a couple videos and teach yourself. It isn't that hard if you have any artistic abilities.
