Default preserving fawn for taxidermists

i found a dead fawn on the side of the road tonight. it still had it spots and i had heard taxidermists will buy them from people. want to know if thats true and if so is there a way i should store it until i can get rid of it other than just throwing it in the freezer

First I would check with your local Conservation officer if it is legal. If it is just freeze it whole in a plastic bag to prevent freezer burn. They make cool mounts.
