I use a small paint brush on mine, and apply Van Dykes Super Gloss.

We use modge podge high gloss. It leaves a gloss and wet look that looks very real. You can buy it in hardware and k-mart stores.

my stepmom is a taxidermist and i believe she uses elmers? glue on the nose after glossing on the nose itself and on the hairs that are on the nose to give it a natural wet look. I will find a pick if I can and make sure its elmers glue to if youd like.
