Default Tannery recommendations?

I have a few hides that I wouldlike to get tanned, for a fair price.

Taxidermistsin my area (Virginia) say theyjustsend them out then mark it up andrecommendgoing directlyto the tannery.Talking to some of thetannery's, they say they are wholesalers and don't do direct retail.

Anyone have recommendations?

Thx.

Lonestar Fur Dressing in NC. They do an awesome job. Check out their website, Google their name. The owner is a good friend who used to work for one of the biggest tanneries on the east coast and went out on his own. Check them out, you won't be sorry.

They are marked up only due to the fact that to prepare a nice hide to go to the tannery is a lot more work than people think if you want it done correctly.
