Default FREEZE DRIED TURKEY HEAD

Hey everyone, I have a mount of a strutting turkey which was mounted with a plastic head. The mount looks awesome but I am not happy with the head. I wish I had a freeze dried head put on. My question is can I have the plastic head removed and a freeze dried put on without damaging the turkey? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it can be done. You will probably have to rehydrate the skin around the head and use fingernail polish remover to break the glue that attaches it. I would suggest a Hazel Creek head by Master Turkey Taxidermist Cally Morris. They are the absolute best heads I have ever seen.
