Default HOW HARD IS IT TO MOUN YOUR OWN PHEASANT....

How hard is it to mount a pheasant with the level 3 pheasant mounting kit.

Pheasants are one of the easiest birds to mount with the proper equipment. There are a lot of variables in mounting a bird, pin feathers, condition of bird, shot damage, field care, etc. I have never used the kit but the thing I think would be the hardest is lack of knowledge and equipment. If you don't get the meat out of the wings the smell will not be pleasant. Not knwoing how to get the meat out or defatting will probably be your biggets obstacle. Give it a shot if you have a couple and see how it goes.
