I don't use any finish on the antlers becauseI think that the natural look is better. But I have seen some people spray the skull and antlers with a satin or semi-gloss varnish. This adds some shine to the mount. I do quite a few every year. Here are some I have done (the front three are done, tha back ones obviously aren't.)

Mog-podge works really well. you can buy it at a craft store and it seals the skull very well. it looks like elmers white glue but dries clear and dries quick to. you can get it in glossy.

Hey guys,
I was wondering what you guys use for the glossy finish on the antlers of your euro mounts or if you even use any. Thanks for you help!
