Default Changing ear position

I am not happy with the ear position on one of my deer shoulder mounts. The guy that did it up has the ears forward and close to the head, almost like donkey ears. The deer has a good spread and I'd like the ears to be out like the rest of my mounts. Can the ear position be changed, the mount is 3 years old??

If the skin was tanned you might be able to, depends what he used as ear butts, if he used clay, it can be softened and moved.

Thanks for the reply Alex. Is this something I can easily try to do myself without snapping an ear off?

You need to inject with a syringethe ear butt with water and the sorrounding area until it softens and then try and correct it

With my experience I ussually soak teh head in water but then you probbly need to do teh eyes and sometimes nose and mouth, I don't think you want to do that.
