Default Tanning a foxhide

can somebody give me an easy step by step way of how to tan my own fox hide..

Depends on what you want to do with it. If you want it soft, wallhanger or if you want to mount it. What I'd recommend is to contact a taxidermist and have him/her order you the McKenzie Home Tanning kit. It's like $25 - $30 and has a video and most of the chemicals.

I've had good luck with Protan. Minnesota Trapline Products and the Snareshop both carry it. Will give you a nice pliable pelt if you break it nicely. An oil to work into the hide as you break it is highly recommneded. Go to taxidermy.net and spend a few hours reading the posts on tanning.
