Take a very sharp knife and get to it. Skin it then cut off all the meat you can, after that use what is called the maceration method. Fill a bucket up with water and let it set for about 2 weeks, dump water and then hose off the flesh. Put it back in the water for 2 weeks, repeat. This is also called the downwind method, cause you don't want to be downwind of it. After all the flesh is removed, soak it for about another week in water with Dawn dishwashing liquid in it to degrease it. Then bleach it. That is the cheapest way but there are many other ways to do it.

The Egyptians would stick a red, hot stick up it's nose to fry the brain out.

nctaxi posted a good way to clean the skull. You could also use dermestid beetles. (flesh eatingbeetles) You would have to buy a small starter kit, but it's not that expensive. They are easy to keep and they do a good job cleaning the skull.

what i do when i am not in a hurry (due to mounting other animals) is dig a hole and stick it in the ground! believe me mother nature has a way of letting the little grubbers find it. also if you have noticed any ant piles that would be a good place to bury it. it should take about a month. plus the smell goes into the earth.

Do not usebleach onthe skull!!! Bleach will forever eat away at the bone and will crumble to nothing, use 30% Peroxide.
