Default big pig

Here is a pic of a Russian Boar a freind of mine mounted for some guys who a starting up a boar hunting operation. I have never seen anything like it before. She was an older sow that stopped producing litters. So they are putting her in their lodge.

Excellent mount. I'd do backflips if I ever shot a hog like that. I'm curious to know what it weighed, too.

So do I understand right that shewas farm-raised?

Yes, she was pen raised. She was a breeder for an outfit that is starting up a hunting operation. She didn't have a litter in over 2 years so she had to go. They are putting the mount in their lodge. She weighed 350lbs gutted. I will post a pic of the finished mount when I get back up there. He won a lot of awards at the IL Taxidermy show.
