Whitetail deer in velvet European mount
Finished up this European mount. The deer was killed several years ago in full velvet. The customer had left the skull out to be cleaned and the bugs cleaned the skull along with part of the velvet. He finished cleaning the velvet off. When he brought it, he said he wished he'd gotten the velvet preserved. Here are the before and after pictures of applying velvet to the rack.
