Default Switching antlers on deer mounts.

I was wondering how difficult it was to put new antlers on an old mount. Is it more complicated than taking out the stitches and paper mache' and putting in the new horns? Short on cash and would love to switch out this years 10 point for a little 7 point I killed years ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.

If the opening where the horns sit are the same thats all that is necessary, then finish work around the repairs.
