In PA you would get arrested for taking possession of one, even if you found it dead in your yard. I would love to have one though. Looks awesome! How did you get it?

Brother in law found it dead in the ditch. We can get permits here for found dead wildlife.

THey should never be shot, they are a very beneficial bird, one adult owl can eat 12 mice a night.

In Cuba where they are killed for witchcraft, they have a major rat problem.

Just let them be.

In Canada, if a bird of prey is found to be dead due to natural causes or accidental death, upon inspection by the ministry a permit is issued. Thats such a sensible ruling. Too bad us bonehead americans cant figure that one out, huh? All those wasted screech owls and redtails I see!
