Wow, I missed this the first time around, I love the ideas for the plaques.

Thought you might be interested in seeing another Euro mount. This is a Manitoba buck shot by my guide 2 years ago. His son (14 years old at the time) did the mount. I was so impressed, I took the picture and want to try a mount like this.

That does look awesome. I should do something like that with my bear head once I get it done.

Treeclimber, I first apologize for the hijacking of this thread, but your plaques are so cool looking and that manitoba buck looks so good, does anyone else have unique skull mounts to show? I did my first one this year, and I like it so much no more sawing off the skull plate, for now on I wanna do all skull mounts. I would like to see how people display them, it is too easy to get a regular plaque, I would like to see some interesting ones like Treeclimbers...

Bion ; no problem. I also like to see the different ideas.

texas8point, it was on my own. you just skin, get all the meat you can off the skull. them boil it till all the rest comes off(be sure to keep the horn outa the water). then dry and bleach(also remembering to keep the horn outta the bleach). let dry.

you got it.
