Default Preserving Hog Tusks

I got a nice 250-300# hog the other day w/ my bow and am wondering how to preserve the tusks. Previous ones I've pulled have dried and split and these are nice enough I want to keep them around. They measure about 7 inches along the outside of the curve from point to hollow end. Any ideas would be appreciated
