Default using Dermstid beetles

After using the beetles to do the skull cleaning, is there still a need to degrease before using the Mag/peroxide.

I ask this question as i'm thinking of trying the beetles over boiling. In the past boiling has been fun, but now looking at bigger game and dont want to look for a bigger pot to do the job in

Yes, beetles simply remove the meat. The skull will still need degreased.

so what is used to degrease the skull?..When ii boil I use Dawn dish soap. So now that heat has not been applied, what do they use?
