dont know much about it but i think theywant to do away with the liscensing requierment??? if thats true ill never take my game to a taxidermist without one....id just feel better about it......and if im having something mounted its special to me and im willing to drop some cash on it to have it done right.....if you cando your work good take the test and prove it id say.......but i may be wrong......i only heard about it once...and not sure if they are taking it away or making it harder.....i definently think there should be one.......

The test is the biggest pile of baloney in taxidermy. Once the test is taken, who makes sure all your customer mounts are up to standard? The customers, of course. No need for tests. Ive judged around the country and taught taxidermy as well. I still say its not needed. Theres so many talented taxidermists in PA and everywhere. Look at their work, and talk to their customers.

To answer the question, though...get ahold of Paul Czarnecki, he will be able to help you with any changes as they happen. Hes a taxidermist and one of the officers of your state taxidermy association. Good luck this season.
