I have my hunting room(my carport-the wife dont want dead animals in the house??????)full of ducks and I usually paid around 100 for a wood duck and 150 for a green head.

My taxidermist here in Oklahoma only charges $100 and he did one for my friend it was a pretty big duck and he got the wings open.

For whatever its worth, up here I charge $225 for all ducks and $450 for large geese. Glass cases, scenary and habitat work is extra. I turn away bird work at that price. Theres a lot of bird work to be had up my way for the guy who wants it and has the time. Butfor those prices, he has to do a very good job, degreasing the skin well and paying attention to the details.Funny how different areas can vary so much, Im sure most do very nice work regardless of where theyre from.
