Im trying something kind of similar to that with a squirrel. What i've done so far is skinned it from the waist up to its head (turned out not bad) and i've soaked in some hot water for a little bit. So now i think im going to salt the inside down....insert a wire through the head and front feet so that they're in the position i want....stuff it with something...and put some eyes in. haha, yeah, im kind of winging it since i've never done anything near to this before so wish me luck.

PS. your mount isn't half bad one on one

the guy that does my taxidermy work gave me a catlog and iordered the kit.the liquid preserve worked easier than the borax, thinking of tring a deer mounted on a fence post, with old barb wire, to look like a real fence post, with a field rock for the base to level it, what the best way to get the flesh and stuff off the deer hide, thanks
