Default Old Antlers

There was an old mount (1930's) in our cabin. The mice finally got to the deer. I have the old rack. It has seen 60 + years of smoke, dust, heat and cold. What would be the best way to clean them upso I can remount them. Thanks for your help.

Acetone, but you might need to stain them again to the natural color
