Default My new T-Rex Recurve bow!

Hello,
I am not sure this is the correct thread for this
but, if it's not, I apologize.
I just wanted to share a few pictures of my new T-Rex (take-down)Recurve Bow;
my husband got me for Christmas...but it did not come in until Jan. 2nd.
I am so thrilled and just had to share with some of you folks here.
It features the KAP Challenge Spirit wooden laminate and fiberglass limbs (64"),
the black Evolution aluminum riser (left-handed) It really is a "sweeet" bow for me.
I am just getting acquainted with it. It sure is a lot different than a compound of course,
and more challenging. I'm havingso much fun with it and it's exciting.
I can sure useanytips, or helpful hintsfrom you 'experienced' ones out there.

I am not good at all adding photos to this forum.

Nice bow but you aren't going to find many target recurve shooters here.Plenty of traditional guys but that is completely different from what you are doing,or so I assume.

What kind of shooting you going to be doing with it?

TFOX,

thanks, I really like it so far. But I am finding out that
my shouldersget pretty sore aftera fewhours of practicing.
Could I be over-doing it for a beginner?
For some reason, I keep saying to myself...."just one more round"
and after that...
well, I just keep on going and going.
I "hope" I am not addicted. Well, if I am-
this cannotbe a bad addictioncan it? (wink, wink )

The type of shooting I am planning to do with it is just target shooting.
The club that my husband and I belong to has a traditional 'bare bow'
or recurve bow only for 300 leagues andthen the 3-D leagues.
I am hoping to get good enough to do both.

I am "open" to any advice out there, as I am a beginner to the Recurve.

You might be overdoing it.Injuries can occur when overdoing it and especially if you aren't doing it properly.Just be carefull.

Are you going to shoot instinctive or are you going to be using a sight and stabilizers?

TFOX,
Sorry - I have not been in here for quite awhile now,
and am just now seeing your question.

to answer your question,
No, I will not be using a sight or stabilizer.
(I will be shooting instintive.)

I will be shooting in a "traditional" (bare bow) league
with my husband.
