Default My first year is almost over...

I sealed the deal on the local 3D circuit championship today. I twelved the first target, shot a 10 on the next and then proceeded to 12 the next 7 in a row[8D]. They kept a total running number of points from the year, and added them all together to decide the championship. After today, I won by 66pts[8D]

I JUST got off the phone with Adam (Hayden), he called me to congratulate me, and we talked a bit. He said, I have gotten good quicker than ANY other shooter he's ever been around including himself. It kind of blew me away coming from the guy who finished 6th in the ASA shooter of the year in Open Pro.

For my first year, I've accomplished more than I ever thought I would. I already can't wait for next year. We have a few more shoots left this year, and then it's time for dot season.

So just for the record, here's the accomplishments for this year.

2007-2008 local Indoor 3D Championship...Open Class
2007-2008 local Indoor 3D MVP (held highest score average)
2008 Tri City Circuit Open Trophy Champion
2nd Place London KY ASA Open C
5th Place Metropolis IL ASA Open C
3rd Place Sims Known Distance ASA Open C Metropolis
ASA Longshot qualifier
Won out of Open C in 2 shoots
Won or finished in the top 3 in 10+ local 3D shoots

Not bad for my first year. I'm going to keep at it over the winter and hopefully I'll improve even more on it next year.

Definately stick with the spots for the winter, that will only improve the outdoor game.

Get out and keep judging those targets, especially at longer distances because open B gets a little longer.[8D]

I about 90% sure I'm going to shoot Open A in Gainsville.

I can't believe I missed this.

That is probably a good move,I would consider B to be the most competetitve class out there, atleast it used to be.
