Default I need vane recommendations

I'm searching for a new vane for 3D. I'm currently shooting Easton 1.8 Diamond vanes and I'm looking to switch. I want something stiffer, that's pretty tough. The diamond vanes are good, but really flimsy and lose their shape rather quickly.

I REALLY like the Duravane Stingers, but they are REALLY pricey [:-]

So, recommend some vanes for me to try.

I'd prefer a 1.8-2.3" vane.

I don't want to hear Blazers either

Flex Fletch is the absolute best imo for 3-d.Just require a little more to glue on properly.

Make sure you clean the bases with a clean cotton rag.I actually washed an old t shirt with baking soda toclean the bases.Put a little Acetone on the rag, then rub the base untill it is dry and a little color comes off on the rag. Then clean the arrow with water. It probably wouldn't hurt to clean the base with water after using the acetone to clean the residue off. Then use a cyanoacrylate type glue.Or the Bohning Fletch tite platinum which I prefer.

I 2nd the flex fletch vanes. For prepping thought I use a 99% isopropyl alcohol for both the vane and the arrow. Some pharmacies carriy the 99% but some don't. I had to have them order mine. I haven't had any problem with the vanes coming loose though. Good luck with those you ordered Matt, I think you will like them.
