Default Shot the 3D course clean today.

I shot my 11th 3D shoot of the year today.... Finally cleaned my first course of the year..... My X count was a little down with eleven 11's today but I didn't have any shots get away from me....

There were only 3 small targets that I can recall though, one javelina, a gobbling head on turkey and a broadside gobbling turkey.... I got 10's on those 3, no 11's.

Hope to keep the trend rolling for next week.....

Congrats,I know how hard that is to do.I have never actually done it,even when shooting up.

The first shoot this year I only had 1 or 2, 8's(mbr) but I only went to 2 more shoots after that and my shoulder problems just got worse and wasn't able to make clean shots or practice enough to maintain.

I really only shot strong enough to accomplish this for 1 season(open class)before I burnt myself out.[&:]

2 weeks ago, I was close to cleaning.... I hit an 8 on a gobbling jake target on the texas heart shot vitals.... My X count was better at 16 that week...

That would have been a heck of a round 316 16X but I had to settle for a 314, not that I am complaining

Only shot a 297 last week at home though... Shot clean on the front with 6 x's and fell apart on the last 15 targets.... But I shot OK in Erie last weekend for the GTG with a 307 13X to make up for the poor showing at home....

My shoulder is feeling good for the most part and I plan to hit the spots hard this winter and be a contender in the nationals next summer.

Good luck with that,my shoulder is finally starting to show some signs of getting better.I really think shooting a little more is helping it rather than hurting it.Seems to be getting stronger all the time.BUT,I am taking it slowly.

There is a free 3-d shoot about a mile from my house next weekend that I plan on attending.Hopefully I will be ready.

I should have cleaned my course last weekend, but it was a fairly short course. Yardage is killing me at the moment. From the open peg and my inexperience on yardage is eating my lunch. I'm a 290's machine.

I am not sure I am following what you said? 290's and a clean course is worlds apart.A 290 is 5 8's not counting any 8's for your 12 rings (11 rings here).... 290's is good shooting though....

No, last weekend, I shot like 18up with 1 8. That's what I meant. I said it was a short course, and it was lol.

I'm consistantly in the 290's because of yardage though, my shot is as solid as it could be right now.
