Hunt giant Iowa whitetails for an elk or mulie
I would like to swap an Iowa whitetail hunt in south east Iowa. I am not an outfitter. Have access to around 1000 acres all private ground. I've had the most success with archey, or late muzzleloader. You would be hunting the same ground that I hunt. Will show trail cam pics and have established stands. All my ground is trophy managed by me. You would be hunting 140+ deer. You shoot what you want. I'm not going to say yes or no, but I almost guarantee you will have a chance at a 160+ with the occasional freak. The last 2 years I've been on 180+ deer. Got one of them 186 3/8 a 160 a 157 and my wife (first time hunter) took a 149 last year. You would be welcome to hang your own stands if you'd like.
I'm not set on any certain state. But I've been hunting elk on public ground in Colorado with otc tags so I have points there. Been all spike camps no outfitter and haven't let an arrow go yet. I am wanting either a respectable bull elk or a big mulie. I'm not much of gun hunter would prefer to use archery tackle.
I'm new to the site and new to trading hunts just wanna see how this goes.
Thanks Justin
