1954 mod 70 308 featherlight for a goat

I have a beautiful pre64 rifle ,I have never shot [do not want to scratch it]. It has been in the family for as long as I can remember, it looks brand new. I would like to trade for a montain goat hunt .I am not the type to need a guide ,I have hunted all over the place [3 times to alaska with out a guide]but I am required to have one for goats.Anyone want to negotiate a deal .I'll do all the skinning ,packing and buy the tag.

Mountain Goat hunts are expensive. I imight be interested in offering you an archery speedgoat hunt. Ken

Thanks ken but I aready have 2 of those and I really want a billy.Maybe I should just sale it and put it on a down payment on a hunt in 2009 or 10.

There is an Alaska outfitter who had a cancelation. That would be your cheapest bet.

That sounds good but will have to wait till next year ,My fall is filled with a 21 day archery elk in montana and a illinios whitetail tag to fill.I'm in no hurry ,I just want to get the hunt planned will in advance.I really like the thought of a boat hunt in the inlets of se. alaska with the halubit.
