Hello i'm new to this board and so far this seems like a real experienced forum and i hope to learn a lot. i'm live in north carolina but go to florida for spring and summer. I currently don't have any hounds, i would like to get a Plott for coon. i'm a girl, so i'm not really interested in bear or anything to big. i used to hung with my boyfriend and some of his friends who have blueticks, but we moved to florida for awhile and just got out of it. It is really hard to find plott pups here in north carolina (near ashville) that are any good. Right now i have a working hog catch dog female who we work in florida. (she's an american pitbull terrier) she also funny enough trees coons, i only take her out sometimes though because she climbs trees while bawling(sounds funny since its a pitbull) after the coons and i don't want her to get hurt. she's a spoiled baby and loves everything even our kitten. Heres some pics of her. I hope to learn a lot about all different kinds of hunting you all do here and the dogs you use. if anyone knows of any plotts, let me know. thanks. devin.

welcome to the board. we got some good people here.
if you don't want her hurt playing with coons, you may want to stop the hog hunts. the hogs we have here in Fl. are mean and hurt dogs real bad some times.the life span of a hog dog is only a few years.
Just something to think about.
