Default biting puppy

I have a 3 month old black lab. I know puppies go through biting stages, but she will grab onto my ankles and not let go until i pry her off. She then gets super aggressive and runs i circles growling, (normal?). This is my first dog ever so I'm learning all I can.
thanks for any input or advice.

Roll up a newspaper and when he grabs your ankles, flog him with the newspapers with the firm command NO until he lets go. It doesn't hurt, but the noise seemed to have spooked mine. She only bit me a couple of times.......after that she would grab her rawhide chew and put it on top of my feet.... It is a puppy thing so be patient. Once the dog responds to the newspaper and stops biting, be sure and praise him. Maybe even a puppy treat to reward him for stopping. This worked for me.

Hope this helps!

I'll definitely try it. I'm trying anything right now. It doesn't bother me as much as it does my wife.

thanks

I had a Feist that drove me nut biting. Go to pet it, bite your fingers. Started putting my finger on the back of its tongue and held it there. Didnt like that much, once it associated biting with something it didnt like, it stopped.

EJD had good advice. Also be sure to give him a firm sounding No! You have to be the Alpha dog and he cannot be allowed to challenge you. Of course while a puppy has not learned that yet you must teach him.

my pup was doing the same thing.I would give him a loud firm "NO" with a slap with paper.when he bites grab him by the bottom lip and mash,if it hurts him he learns that "NO" means just that.
he will grow out of it,but you have to stop him from bad habits in your way.be the dominat dog.look him right in the eys untill he give in,get closer and closer till he turns, never, never turn away your slef.that makes him think he is the dominate one.just be firm and consistant.over and over is the thing.
