Default Good Food for Puppy

I am looking for a good puppy food that can be found in a grocery store or Walmart. There is not a Petsmart or Petco near me. I have considered Iams.

Anyone have an opinion? Please advise.

I fed my black lab pup Purina Puppy Chow and Pedigree Puppy canned food. Make sure whatever you decide on is for large breed dogs if possible.

Good luck !!!

For sure, for sure -- use a food that is for "Large Breed Puppies".

The problem is she was on a crap food from the breeder...it was the Ol' Roy dogfood from Walmart...first ingredient is yellow corn meal.

Couldn't find the large breed food at the Walmart, so I got the regular Iams puppy food...first ingredient is chicken.

Will try to find the large breed Iams when I get the next bag. They carry it, but just didn't have any the day I was there (figures).

Thanks for the input! Appreciate it!

We use Purina Puppy Chow for all of our litters, and young dogs til they are old enough for adult food. They have differnt formulas including one just for large breed dogs.
