Default new pup JAKE, w/pics

i want to let ya know i went to the humane society and they didnt have the dog i wanted, so i went and stopped by the one by my home and there he was , yes, it's a boy.....he is a registered yellow lab , fixed, and he's 11 months old, already went to obidence school.....the woman who had him didnt have the time for him.........i didnt know he was registered or anything until after i said i wanted him ...whatta bonus....and i rescued him....he's not a bloodhound, and i will get one as soon as they are born and ready to go , but i just couldnt say no ,i'll post pics later tonight....

he did pretty good through the night, other than giving kisses til i woke up.....he just wasnt totally sure of his surroundings but he'll be just fine...
not going to be a duck dog because of the gators, he's just my buddy, he'll go with me in the woods though and do as much as possible with me....i wanted a bloodhound, but it just wasnt happening soon enough, but it will and i will be waiting with open arms, you'll be the first to know

That is one beautiful pup....looks alot like my brother-in-law's yellow lab but his is a bit fatter.

Labs are great i have three of them now, they are kinda addicting, lol

You cant beat a lab. One of the nicest dogs going IMO. He will definitely be a buddy.

Nice looking lab! Is that your daughter in the photo? I have always pictured "huntnma" as being about 60, even older than me!
Has your new doggie been trained to hunt and retrieve yet, or are you going to do it?
