Need help with scared dog

I have a 1 year old black female that was trained professionaly. I work with her at home and she performs like a pro. I took her Teal hunting this weekend and she did not want to get in the water she seem scared of something. I finally got her in the water she swam all the way to the teal but did not pick it up and swam back to the blind. Should I continue bring her hunting until she become comfortable???? Any suggestions will be helpful

I' d talk with the professional trainer that did the training first. Although the dog is still very young, the trainer should be able to steer ya in the right direction as what to do.

Howler is right.I would first go back to the trainer and ask him how he trained my dog????????????

if he trained the dog right,it should not be doing that.ask him first.

How old is the dog? I would ask the trainer if he force fetched the dog also. A dog that is properly FF' ed should have retrieved anything that you want it to. I would definitly go back to the trainer!
