Default Just Purchased A New Dog

I'm not into hunting with dogs, but just wanted to share the fact that we just purchased a new Rottweiller puppy (8 weeks old) he will be here sometime Friday. I had a one a few years ago, but she died from cancer. Me and my kids can't wait to get him, my wife isn't into big dogs, she likes those small stupid dogs

My wife and I picked him up last evening at the airport, besides my kids and I loving this pup, my wife is in love. He had me up all-night, going to be long nights for the next few weeks, but worth it

Did you know that Rotties were originally Herding Dogs.

Congrats on your new pup. Did you check with your home owner insurance on be able to keep him and not loose your insurance? I wouldn't be able to keep one here because of the fact my homeowners insurance would not allow it. They are getting big on this stuff now a days.
Just last fall an old couple across the river from here were killed buy their own rottie. It was stated that the dog was a nice and playfull. No one really knows what had happened but suspect the dog to have snapped some place along the line. They went to check on the couple and that was how they were found all ready been malled to death. It is pretty sad and even when they went in to check on them the dog still acted nice. Something just went terribly wrong. I hope you and yours have great luck with your new pup though..
