Default Think this could be good team?

Alright me and my buddy hunt quail and pheasant and hes getting a black lab purebreed puppy, it has a big ol dad and we saw another grown up son and they are big muscular suckers. And I'm getting a champion bred German Shorthair, think those two together if trained together will make a good team for this?

As long as the Lab is trained to honor the GSP's point, and the GSP is steady to flush/shot/fall, then all should be well.

good to see you around doc.toby my lab does fine around GSP .he hunts his way and stays near me.GSP hunts way out,i dont like that at all but most do as they cover a lot of ground.
even english setters i see hunt to far out for me.

i like to see toby my lab working the birds 25 yards in front of me ALL THE TIME on grouse/pheasants.
my next puppy wil be lab .
