Default Shock Collars

Which shock collars do you prefer? How is the Field Trainer 400 by SportDog?

The 400 is adequate. I used one for two years before the transmitter was stolen. The best IMO is Tri-tronics.

My DT Systems H2O 1800 has worked well for me for 4 years so far. Although, the antenna unscrewed itself & got lost & I had to replace it. I also thought the electrodes stuck out too far, & got some shorter ones when I replaced the antenna.
When I have to change, I'll probably go Tri-Tronics, though. They seem to be preferred by the pros & heavy hitters.

I used the 400 for awhile, but then bought the Cabelas 6000 model and I really like it.

I have a tri-tronics Pro 500 and the Classic 70. Both work very well. I dont think I would ever switch to any other brand.

TT or Dogtra are good. BTW they are called E-Collars.

I love my Tri-Tronics E Collar (Flyaway Special?). I have had for 6 years now and have never had a problem with it. If I had to buy another it would be a Tri-Tronics.

I am glad someone else feels Sunday is a bad day for me to hunt and this is why I can't hunt on Sundays.
