Default Inhuman acts against dog

I dont have a picture of this but i should because i think its a strong reminder of the subhuman and/or acts of people who do such things like that. I have been patroling down canals for the last month (I work for a security company) because of some drownings out there and from farmers dumping trash, dead livestock, chemicals out there. I saw this female pit bull that someone had abandoned about 3 days or so. I saw a motorist parked on the canal and i stopped to see if everything was okay. I tried to contact the animal shelter but they were closed and the local police wouldn' t come out unless it was an emerency. The guy called a friend and said supposely he would take it in and take care of it. This dog was skin and bones and all its paws were a bloody mess. I went by later and the dog was gone and i didn' t see it after that so i assumed the guy took it in. About a week later i found that dog futher down the road and it was dead. For passionate sake i hope she was hit by a car and died quickly rather then starving to death. That alone made me very upset. I dragged her off to the side and once again i called the shelter and asked if they could come get her rather then stay out in the sun and rot but they never did. This is what really really p*ssed me off though. Earlier today (actually yesterday, its about 12:40am) i noticed something blackened on the other side of the road further down and just out of curiosity i went to check it out: It was that same dog and someone set her on fire and there was enough flesh on her for me to know it was her. Can you believe how mean and inhuman people can be sometimes for doing all those things??[:@]

I can' t believe how some people treat pit bulls. Pit bulls are like gold down here as hunting dogs. Especially Gaming pits.
