Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Check" Verein Deutsch Drahthaar" (V.D.D.)Group North America on the net or North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (N.A.V.H.D.A.) ( www.navhda.org) . As the saying goes" a dog is the mirror image of its owner" and I' am an ugly dog all the way.

I know some Wirehairs that are the some of the best bird dogs I' ve ever seen. And I' m a setter man. They are still ugly, though.
