Default breaking gun shyness

Hello i am about to try and traina 10 month old yellow lab i have trained a choclate already and hes wonderful in the duck blind with me. But the dog was exposed by accident to some riffle rounds from a 30-06 and some other rifle a little while back and ran into the corner of the room scared. The people didnt know the dog was above them the next floor up and fired two rounds down into a yard. I was wondering how to break the gun shyness she hasent been around guns since, so i was wondering if i should start off with a BB gun then maybe work up to a .22 then a little larger and so on up to a shotgun. Does anyone have any advice on how to maybe break the gun shyness?

Mango,

There were some great discussions on gunshyness about 5 or 6 pages back. Take a look at them and see if your questions are answered. If not then we will have to get the topic fired back up again.
