Dog Indoors or Out? That's the Question

I like to keep my dogs inside. It helps me keep them healthier. (I had an outdoor dog develop an ear fungus that took quite a while to treat) Plus I think it helps with bonding and trust. To support my opinions I saw on the T.V. show "Cops" that the police K-9's live with their handlers at home. There must be a reason for that.

not in the garage...at least outside...let em wonder round..in the house i say...the dog hunts because it makes you happy, and the dog is gonna be confused to what makes you happy if its in the garage all the time...so let the dog in..i had a great dane could maneuver through a china factory, and my dogs dont get on the furniture, she has 2 dog beds and a rope on one so she can put it where she wants it...give em their own chair basically..the dog wont hunt unless you werk em, they will be house dogs..

I keep my dogs in at night and outside during the day as a rule and I have never had any problems with them hunting for me.. They tend to listen good when hunting as well so it is more to each thier own type of thing IMO..
