Had a dog get sprayed while out in SD pheasant hunting back in late Oct. and used the same stuff that JW listed. It worked great on the dog. Took the smell right out.

Try Downey liquid fabric softener. My dog club has used it for years. They all swear by it. just pour it on the animal, rub it in, and rinse. Smells nice afterwards too.
