Default Looking forward to going live for the first time
My 1 year old english spring spaniel and i are ready and excited for our first hunt. Sept. 1 is opener for resident goose, and dove season in IL. I am looking forward to watching Duke trot back to me proud as a pea**** chest puffed out with a fallen bird in his mouth. I think we'll start out in a hay field for some goose hunting.

I wish you good luck and I just know you'll have agreat time afield. I also have a Springer, a 7 yr old male that lives to hunt. It's great to hunt over a dog watching him do what he was bred for.

Im excited too. Doves all over the place, but havnt seen many geese in my area.
