Default 9 mo old GWP needs a new home

Ok...it is killing me to write this post. My wife and I have been married for 14 years. 12 of those years we had a great Golden Retriever. His cancer got so bad we had to put him to sleep last July.

We moved to North Florida and I couldn't take it any longer. I bought a great GWP puppy. I love him. I was training him to bloodtrail deer. He found one doe this past fall...the only one I put him out on. He is dying to bird hunt, and I we don't have that many down here. He has amazing drive and will point all day long. Anyway, his energy is way too high for my wife to handle while I am at work. We have never had problems like this over anything, but Max is putting a strain on our marriage. We now have three small kids. My kids love him, but he test them when he steals thier toys or gets to running around the house.

Anyway, I promised my wife that I would try to find a good family for him that would take him hunting and appreciate his pedigree. He is awesome. I am dying as I type this thread.

pm me if you are interested. I am not just giving him to "anyone." He needs to hunt. He needs a place to run. He needs someone who will let him inside the house. He is a great dog and respects a "leader."

pm me if interested.
