I love to run my dogs. Whether it be in a fox pen or the wide open on a whitetail, there' s nothing like the sound of a good race[8D]

there is nothing like hearing a pack getting closer and closer to you.love to run my dogs as much as possible.

critch;it means turning your hunting hounds out to run,be it durning deer season, rabbit,or in a fox pen.just to keep them tough and in shape.[:-]

If you want them to run deer put them on fresh tracks & encourage them to smell the tracks, follow them for a while & walk with them to make sure they stay straight. It' s good to get an older trail dog or beagle that won' t run off & leave them to help keep them straight on the deer. If they' ve got some hunt in their blood they' ll catch on pretty quick & leave the old dog behind.
I' ve got 2 5mo old beagle/walkers in the pen right now that will run with an older dog pretty well & take a track on their own for a while. If anybody wants them I' ll let them go cheap, got a gyp ready to have a litter any day now & need to make room.
