These are my boys. Both are rescues from the pound. One man's trash is another man's family.

Lots of great looking pups!

Here's my 8 year old GSP. What a fantastic companion, family friend and hunter.

My black lab Shadow starting having hip problem while I was away in the military and it was a little hard not being able to use him this year so I went out and picked up this pretty girl big 'ol BETTY (yeallow lab). She has some big shoes to fill but shes a quick learner.

Chocolate Lab, had her for 17 years. One morning she just couldn't get up in 2010 so ended her suffering. then I had only 3.

Yellow Lab mix pound pup. Had her for 11 years. she had been very abused as a little pup and liked staying in very small spots when sleeping. Had a stroke in June 2012 and was paralyzed in her rear. She was also put out of her suffering. Now I only have 2.

One month latter My springer who was 12 also a pound pup started bleeding from an ear. Took him to the vet found out cancer cell had burst inside his ear. more testing reveled he had more cancer. We ended his suffering and was laid to rest beside the two labs near the creek. I.m left with one now.

My 13 year old Visula died last June of old age, she was a very good pup we rescued as she was a unwanted runt of a litter and was sent to the pound. No more dogs for me I said when I laided her to rest near the other 3.

By August I could not handle a dog less life. I wanted a grown dog but the wife kept nixing all I looked at the pound.

So Mid August I got a puppy from the pound. She is a Shir Pei mix we were told. She has the black spots on her tounge and the wrinkles on her fore head.

Is fun teaching her now that we have got past the needle teeth part and thinking dad is the perfect chew toy.

This is my hunting dog, Oliver German Pointer/Great Pyrenees mix, in training he's still too young but will make a fine bird dog in a couple years.
