Default RE: How do i train for a antler dog???

Start integrating antlers with playtime, let the dog sniff antlers, get the scent in his mind, drag it across the yard and hide it, let him "trail" to the antler and bring it back to you, or teach him to sit or some kind of "signal" to you that hes found an antler. Keep making it more difficult for the dog to find the antlers, ie thicker brush.

Just like training them to find explosives, drugs, people, birds, etc.

Find the object, get a reward, find the object, get a reward...
The dog starts to figure out that when he finds said object, he gets a reward. It becomes a challenge to him, his "job" to find it as soon as possible in order to gain the reward ASAP
