Default Dogo Argentino

Most of you folks are into the retreiving and pointing dogs but these dudes have a really interesting history. Besides that I think they look amazing if you DON'T crop their ears. Otherwise they remind me of dogfighting...which gets me really TO'd.

you can find a bunch of pictures through Google

Anyone have or been around these dogs in person? Anyone actually hunt boars with them here stateside?

They are good catch dogs. They are a bigger, leggy type dog. Nice dogs to be around as well.

Just made a post on the same thing wondering how many of us had them. Yep, many think they look like "Pits on steriods"... They are not, our Sadie Mae is 3 now and an exceptional animal. We do not use her to hunt, she is my 8 yr. old sons constant companion when he is home from school.
