Default Brittany

im not sure if yall deal with dog training, but my brittany is around 9 weeks old and my problem is that he will point a wing and a dead bird but will not a live bird. also if i plant a dead bird in the bushes and he walks by, he is instantly pointing but with a live bird he will walk right over it .does anyone know what the problem is? i realize he is very young and that could very well be the problem but any input would be much appreciated.

thanks

I think he is to young right now, but using a wing to keep him interested would be good.

Let him be a puppy... His natural instincts (with a lil help from dad and some birds) will enhance his talents greatly later on.

Just remember, baby steps.
